Children’s Christian Education Wrap-Up

The 2013-2014 children’s Sunday School year concluded with classes on April 6.

During the worship service, Elder Laura Fails recognized the teachers and shepherds that volunteered their time and talents with the Children’s Christian Education program throughout the school year. Special music was provided by the GPS Kids Choir and Sunday School students. They were accompanied by church youth and sponsors on guitars. Following worship service, a potluck lunch was held in Fellowship Hall to celebrate.

Even though the regular weekly children’s classes have finished for the year, the kids are still invited to two special events in April during the 9:00 am Sunday School time.

April 13 – Palm Sunday – All kids are invited to rehearse a special song to be performed with the choir during worship service. After practice, there will be a ceramic art activity.

April 20 – Easter Sunday – Children’s Christian Education will host an Easter Egg hunt and movie at 9:00 am Easter Sunday for all children, fifth grade and younger.

Opportunities for Children’s Christian Education will be available again this summer with the Sunday Funday program. Watch for dates to be announced. Regular classes for the 2014-2015 school year will resume in the fall. #gallery-2507-2 { margin: auto; } #gallery-2507-2 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-2507-2 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-2507-2 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
