All ages enjoyed Christmas caroling on Sunday, December 14. Group 1 met at the church at 1:30 to travel and carol to our homebound members in Manhattan. Group 2 met at the church at 4:00 to carol to members in Wamego. Group 2 started their trek with cloudy skies, but a sudden thunderstorm appeared and it started to rain! The soggy skies didn’t dampen spirits, as the group was able to seek shelter on porches, in a breezeway, and even a garage to continue to share their music. The event concluded back at the church, where everyone enjoyed a variety of hot soups, chili, sweets, and fellowship time. Thank you to the Deacons for planning this annual event and providing the supper. #gallery-3185-4 { margin: auto; } #gallery-3185-4 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-3185-4 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-3185-4 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
