Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday celebration began with Sunrise Service at Wamego City Cemetery at 7:00 am. Breakfast in Fellowship Hall, hosted annually by the Deacons, followed the Sunrise Service.

Sunday School for the children included group singing, followed by an Easter Egg Hunt. The beautiful spring weather allowed the hunt to take place outside on the church lawn! Members of the T-Lights Youth Group performed the duty of hiding the eggs. Following the egg hunt, the children participated in decorating a cross with Easter-themed stickers.

The main worship service, including communion, was held in the church sanctuary at 10:15 am. The choir opened the service with an amazing anthem. Treats and social time followed the service in Fellowship Hall.
