Souper Bowl of Caring : The Results Are In!

The Souper Bowl of Caring on February 7 was a success! The Middle-School Sunday School Class challenged the congregation to join them in participating in the national food donation drive, held annually to coincide with the Super Bowl Football Game Day. The youth set a goal of filling their grocery cart THREE times over with non-perishable food items. The congregation answered the challenge and the cart was OVERFLOWING! In addition, the kids collected $120+ donations in cash in their soup pot collection. All items and money collected for this program will be used to fill our local food banks. Thanks to everyone that participated, and especially to the Middle School Class for leading the project!
