Tackle Hunger with the Souper Bowl of Caring!

The Souper Bowl of Caring is a national event led by youth, working to fight hunger and poverty in their own communities. It is scheduled each year at the time of the Super Bowl football game.

The Middle School Sunday School Class is leading this year’s collection at FPC. They performed a skit last Sunday prior to worship, to encourage the congregation to participate. The class has challenged the congregation to fill the church’s shopping cart with food, THREE times by February 7. They even used their class time last Sunday to get the collection started.

Along with non-perishable food items, cash donations will also be accepted. Look for the soup pots on February 7th to make your monetary donation.

Food and cash donations will be given to our local food banks to help fight hunger here at home.
