Instead of Cinco de Mayo, we celebrated “Uno de Mayo” after worship service on May 1!
Special thanks to Bob and Lorinda Sultzer for planning the event and preparing all the delicious Mexican food. Traditional favorites including enchiladas, tacos, rice, beans, quacamole, and queso were served buffet style. Kids from the Sunday School class helped with set-up and decorations. Middle and High School Youth also helped with set up and cooking, then stayed to assist with serving the food.
A free-will donation was collected during the meal, with the money going to youth programs within our church. #gallery-3804-5 { margin: auto; } #gallery-3804-5 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-3804-5 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-3804-5 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
