What does this church mean to you?
We invite past and present members of our congregation to respond!
From Dick Shields: Julie and I first attended as a fluke. That changed suddenly when we were met with smiles, greetings, and friendly folks. It was like we had always been here. We were shown that this is a family, and we were happily accepted as members. That was over 20 years ago. I hope as we go through our 150 th anniversary that it can still be said of us.

From Laura Fails: We visited several churches in Wamego when we were church “shopping”. My husband was raised in the Catholic church, I had been raised attending the Methodist church. I still remember the feeling of warmth, acceptance, and comfort that I felt the first time we attended First Presbyterian Church. The beauty of the sanctuary took me back to my childhood days attending church in a small town with my grandparents. The congregation was so welcoming and friendly, we loved the opportunities for our children to be involved, and we recognized that this was a place where we could grow our faith. We knew we had found our new church home!
