The Wamego Presbyterian Women (WPW) hosted the Ladies’ Christmas Gathering on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 7. Twenty-two ladies and girls attended the party in Fellowship Hall.
Entertainment included Christmas carol group singing, accompanied by Pastor Bill on the guitar. BJ Kerr shared a Christmas song and Brenda Patterson shared several Christmas readings, including two different versions of “The Night Before Christmas.”
Guests were asked to bring a sweet treat to share, and a gift for the church kitchen from the wish list. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, the kitchen is now stocked with new towels, containers, utensils, bags, aluminum pans, lotions, and a buffet server – to name a few.
A short WPW business meeting was conducted, which included a report on the recent Holly Fest event held in November.
