The theme of Sunday’s Children Sermon on November 23rd was “compassion”. As part of the message, Miss Brenda treated the congregation to a lively reading of the book, “The Night Before Thanksgiving”.
As a reminder, the church office will be closed Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28.
This year’s Wamego Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be served at First United Methodist Church, 600 Lincoln Ave., from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
